The Carlyle House

Renovated for clients wanting a home that reflects their busy lifestyle: Entertaining children, grandkids and friends, this couple requested to age in place gracefully.

Their recent purchase of a 1970’s ranch style home underwent a complete renovation with Pure & Simple Interiors. Randy and her team, leveled out a sunken-in living room for ease of movement, raised interior door heights to add the feeling of taller ceilings, widened interior doors to allow for accessibility, designed zero threshold transitions in flooring throughout, provided ADA seat heights, grab bars that disguised themselves as elegant hardware, and added beamed ceilings and applied moldings on walls for much needed architectural detail. Lighting needs were implemented early on in the design process for their clients extensive collection of art.

Materials used were well thought out and researched to be environmentally healthy and grandkid-friendly. All furnishings were either custom-made or sourced locally.
